"STOWAWAYS" SHORT FILM

I took on the mission to create a short film announcing the 2025 ShipRocked “Stowaways.” The brief was simple: transform Scully, ShipRocked’s skull-faced mascot, into a Grecian god who commandeers a massive wooden Trojan horse filled with "rock" Stowaways bound for a cruise ship styled like Mount Olympus. Upon arrival, the statues awaken.

Over two hundred hours later, the concept came to life through a fusion of AI platforms, Photoshop compositing, digital painting, Pro Tools, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Character Animator. The result merges mythological spectacle with modern creative technology. When produced (July–August 2025), the workflow was highly experimental; demanding consistent character design, complex multi-angle environments, and a narrative stitched together through both traditional craft and emergent AI tools.
