Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the opportunity to compose music for a wide range of TV commercials; one of the many music-related gigs I’ve taken on to fund my Lego addiction. While my experience has allowed me to meet commercial goals and craft a variety of musical styles, I can’t see this evolving into a sustainable career given AI’s meteoric rise and the endangered state of terrestrial television, HOWEVER…If you want some music for your next commercial endeavour...Look no further!
DUNCAN ROULEAU
Man of Action Studios
(Ben 10, Big Hero 6)
Every artistic endeavour Stevic approaches is a vital mix of intelligence, passion and a pinch of madness. I marvel at the joy his work invokes in those lucky enough to come across it.
ELIOT KENNEDY
Music Producer
(Celine Dion, Brian Adams, Mary J. Blige)
Steve has one of the most imaginative playing abilities I have come across. He turned chords around and added voicings and notes I had never heard before, that just brought everything he played on to life. I look forward to the next time we can work together.
ROB HARRIS
Guitarist, Songwriter, Producer
(Jamiroquai)
Steve is a great bloke and an excellent player, I’m just happy he’s in Australia so I can keep my job!
FORRESTER SAVELL
(Producer/Mixer/Engineer)
Stevic has world-bending talent across a plethora of disciplines. His music represents a virtuosity of artistic style, composition and production that few, if any, I’ve worked with can match. It’s always delightful collaborating on his masterpieces.
NICK SNELLING
(Writer/Director)
Stevic is a freakishly talented composer and musician. A true virtuoso, the guy has more chops than Bruce Lee in a butcher shop; he is not merely a mean guitar player and skilled multi-instrumentalist, but a master of every genre. Whether you’re after a full cinematic score, music for a TVC or an insanely catchy jingle, Stevic should be your go-to composer.
EXISTENTIAL DREAD
(Keeper of Cosmic Anxiety)
In the relativistic meat baggery of life, Stevic catapults into the void like a clump of collagen fibers. He doesn’t just acknowledge me; he welcomes me like an old friend. It’s a shame he’s destined to shuffle off this mortal coil, like all life on Earth (excluding that one jellyfish and a few microscopic wormy things useless at UNO).
